Full Ceramic Ball Bearing


Density of the ceramic ball is 60% lower this leads to a
reduction of the centrifugal force and therefore an increase of the maximum rotational speed.

High hardness and elasticity modules provide less
change in the rolling contact resulting in less friction.
The balls are electric insolators. Because of this no electrolytic corrosion will appear.

The use of among other things ceramic balls, allowes a much greater operating temperature (max 800°C).
Increase of alloweable speeds due to lower density of the ceramic balls.
The ceramic balls are again electric insulators and chemically inert.

 

 


 

 

Precision measurements and devices


The precision balls are highly tolerated. This makes them suitable for precision measurements (styli). The balls are also applied for achieving a defined distance (glue, measuring device etc.).
